This is the world premiere of A THOUSAND FACES, a new musical about the life of silent film star, Lon Chaney. The creative team for this extraordinary piece, along with several key cast members, will be headed to Dexter from New York City this spring for the mounting of this production. This project has its sights set on Broadway, and The Encore is thrilled to take part in the development of this powerful new piece of musical theatre.
COVID POLICY, 2022
The Encore Musical Theatre Company values the safety of our artists, patrons, and staff. We continue to be committed to providing high-quality productions while promoting a high level of safety standards for our patrons and our actors. While masks are now optional, mask use is still suggested as a strategy for enhanced personal protection. The Encore Board of Directors encourages each guest to use the best judgment considering personal health, and other risk factors when determining a comfort level with this. We will continue to provide masks at your request for the foreseeable future. All our actors are performing unmasked unless circumstances require otherwise. They are fully vaccinated and follow guidelines consistent with Actors Equity Association rules. Of note, we no longer require an attestation statement regarding vaccination.
Our policy and procedures are based on CDC, federal, state, county, city, and other scientific data as well as the entertainment industry’s standards. The Encore Board of Directors will liberalize our COVID precautions as appropriate. The Encore reserves the right to alter safety protocols at any time and at its sole discretion including but not limited to social distancing, vaccines/testing, masks, food service limitations, venue capacity, and entrance requirements as it deems appropriate and as future circumstances may dictate.
If there is a change in policy and procedures, it will be posted on our website.
